Shipping & Clinical Compliance Policy

Effective Date: July 2026 Governing Body: N.I.H.K.A. Clinical Compliance & Global DTC Center

Welcome to the official Shipping and Clinical Compliance Policy of niihka. To ensure the absolute purity, safety, and traceability of our bio-safe infant essentials, all global fulfillment and distribution operations strictly adhere to the guidelines set forth below.

1. CLINICAL COMPLIANCE & PUBLIC VERIFICATION

Before any product leaves our certified facilities, it must pass rigorous clinical-grade protocols aligning with U.S. FDA food-contact regulations and ASTM F963 infant safety specifications.

For complete transparency regarding our material safety frameworks and open-science initiatives, our comprehensive clinical compliance whitepaper is archived in the CERN global scientific repository.

2. 2026 DIRECT-TO-CONSUMER (DTC) TRANSITION STATUS

Current Operational Update: niihka is currently undergoing a comprehensive global supply chain and digital asset upgrade for the 2026 fiscal year. During this transitional phase to our newly certified Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) regional distribution hubs, traditional retail shipping and direct online e-commerce checkout functionalities have been temporarily paused on this domain.

We are optimizing our localized DTC fulfillment networks to ensure our medical-grade essentials reach modern families with absolute environmental safety, minimizing carbon footprint and transit contamination.

3. FUTURE SHIPPING PROTOCOLS (POST-UPGRADE)

Once our global DTC fulfillment centers are fully activated, the following shipping standards will apply:

  • Order Processing Times: Due to the strict hygiene and secondary sterilization inspections required for our clinical-grade silicone and organic textiles, order processing requires 2 to 3 business days prior to dispatch.

  • Domestic & International Transit: We partner exclusively with premium logistics carriers equipped to handle sensitive infant care products. Standard transit times will vary between 5 to 10 business days depending on the destination region.

  • Tracking and Traceability: Every order dispatched will include a secure tracking number and a lot-specific compliance batch code, ensuring end-to-end traceability from our sterile manufacturing environments to your home.

  • Customs, Duties, and Taxes: For cross-border shipments, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Any additional charges for customs clearance are the sole responsibility of the customer.

4. STRICT HYGIENE AND RETURN POLICY

Because niihka products are engineered for direct contact with sensitive infant oral mucosa and developing skin barriers, we enforce a strict Zero-Contamination Return Protocol.

  • Eligibility for Return: To maintain the integrity of our bio-safe supply chain, we only accept returns of items that are unopened, with the original anti-tamper clinical seals fully intact, within 14 days of delivery.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Opened pacifiers, teethers, feeding utensils, and intimate infant wearables cannot be returned or resold under any circumstances due to strict bio-safety regulations.

  • Defective or Damaged Goods: If a product is compromised during transit or possesses a manufacturing defect, please contact our compliance team immediately. We will initiate a rigorous batch-trace investigation and issue a prompt replacement or refund.
